By now, you know we love food.
Whether it is chunks of green mangos with chili and salt, to a 17 course meal at per se……if it is good, we are delighted.

Which brings me to a little food truck that is parked in a lot on Warren Street in Hudson NY.

The place has a few picnic tables and the truck is run by a very nice couple, who always seems to be in “The Weeds”. (Definition of being in the weeds- always one step behind or no end in sight)

Our favorite taco is the Pork taco with black beans, avocado and tomato. We usually hit the tacos with a splash of hot sauce.

I always have 4 and Mrs. Z always has two. A side order of nicely cooked black beans and a Mexican Soda, called a Jarrita, washes it down. (All in $21)

They also serve fish tacos, many types of burritos and chicken tacos.

Tortillaville is only open in Hudson for the summer months and in the cold months- they bring there little truck down to the Florida Keyes and serve many happy guests.

My only wish is that they opened up near my office on 68th street and Broadway in NYC……then I would be complete.

    Thank you for your review. We are often “in the weeds” this Summer as business is up 40% from last year. We are very happy about making more money, but we’re still trying to reconcile the demand. We keep telling ourselves not to look up and that people understand , and will wait, for good, affordable home cooked , prepared to order food. But, still we stress and find it hard to catch up. And, with a kitchen sized for just two, with 20 customers on line – what a challenge it is. Still, we try. And, will continue to for the next twelve weeks – at least.
