BBQ Baby Back Ribs with mustard, Dark Beer and BBQ Sauce!
Ingredients:
Feeds 6 people
2 baby back ribs
2 bottles Guinness or any other dark beer you prefer
1 Bottle (6oz) whole grain Mustard
Sea salt and cracked black pepper to taste
16oz BBQ sauce- you can buy it or make it, whatever you prefer……………..
Method-
Place ribs in a roasting pan
Cover with beer and coat the ribs with whole grain mustard, salt and pepper
Cover with foil and place in a preheated 350 degree oven for 90 minutes.
Remove ribs from the oven and drain the beer- you don’t need it anymore.
Once the ribs are room temperature, coat the top of the ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce
and place the ribs in the fridge. This can be done in the afternoon before your guests arrive.
(Do not cover)
****** (below is a Dunkin Donut inspired BBQ Sauce, but you can use your favorite BBQ sauce)
Once the ribs are cold and the grill is hot- cut each portion into ribs of 4, place on the hot grill and heat on both sides, until golden brown.
Serve with your favorite summer salads! The ribs are amazing!!!!
Here is a Dunkin Donut inspired BBQ Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup freshly brewed Dunkin’ Donuts Original Blend coffee, made extra strength
1 cup each Worcestershire sauce and ketchup
1/2 cup each: brown sugar (packed) 4 ounces red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon dark molasses
3 tablespoons chili powder or two fresh chiles, seeded, peeled and charred
2 teaspoons salt
Directions:
Put all the ingredients in a large, heavy saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes until it thickens slightly. Makes about three cups. Can be refrigerated for several days and made ahead!
