I love when the summer bounty begins to arrive at the farmer’s market, and this year the cucumbers are amazing. This 4th of July I decided to make one of my summer favorites… PICKLES!!!

Ingredients:
1/3 granulated sugar
1/3 white vinegar
1/3 dry white wine
Sea Salt
Cracked black pepper
3 sliced pablano peppers
2 pounds pickling cucumbers¬†🥒¬†(make sure there is no dirt on them)

 

Method:
Put all ingredients, minus the cucumbers, in a large pot and bring to a boil.

Add cucumber and put a cover on the pot.

Bring to a boil and then simmer for 20 minutes.

Let the pickles cool in the pickling liquid over night.

Enjoy!
